Anand under the mentorship of Prof. Ashish Pandey (SJMSoM, IIT Bombay).
Dr. Nisha Pandey

Dr. Nisha Pandey has done her PhD in Economics from HBTI Kanpur. She has about 15
years of experience working with Higher educational institutes. Currently She is
Chairperson, Centre for Excellence (Entrepreneurship), Associate Professor and Managing
Editor of Journal of Development Research at Vivekananda Institute of Management,
Mumbai. Dr. Nisha brings in vast experience in Higher Educational institutes best
practices in institutional building. Dr. Pandey has worked in various inter-disciplinary
research projects in several Institute of International repute like Indian Institute
of Technology, Bombay, Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, Harcourt Butler
Technological Institute, Kanpur. Presented and published more than 30 papers in
national and international conference, forum and Journals.
Manish Anand
Co-founder and CEO
Manish is B-Tech from IIT Kanpur and has vast experience( 17 years) in consultancy,
finance and strategy formulation within India and abroad ( U.K, China, Brazil, Korea
etc). Manish Also has an MBA degree in Finance and strategy from KAIST Business
school, Seoul.
Manish is passionate about education and institutional Excellence and he brings
in best international practices in Institutional efficiency and governance.
Prof. Ashish Pandey

Prof. Pandey is faculty member of school of management in Indian Institute of Technology,
Bombay. He is a accomplished researcher in the field of organizational development
and institution building. He consults to many organization including ET top 100
listed companies and institutions in the area of organization and leadership development.
His major consulting projects have been with axis bank, anchor , general mills ,
ICT matunga , walchand college . He has consulted more than 25 organization and
institution on a long term basis in the area of institution building and leadership
development.
Prof. Rajen Gupta
Chief mentor
Prof. Gupta B.Tech. in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur and is a fellow of
IIM Ahmedabad. He has worked in the State Bank Of India and Jyoti Ltd before moving
to IIM Lucknow and Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgoan as a faculty member.
His main passion is to create and apply ideas which are suited to Indian culture
and context. He would like to see Indian organizations achieve world class effectiveness¸
and see MNCs to adapt well to the Indian context. He also like to collaborate in
experimenting with new ideas to create new and better organizations.
K. C. Shashidhar

Shri K C Shashidhar joined RBI and held the post of the foreign exchange control
officer. During this stint, he was instrumental in various policy and operational
aspects especially those relating to foreign currency loans. Shri Shashidhar then
took up a position as a development banker in the newly set-up RBI subsidiary, viz.
The national bank for agriculture & rural development (NABARD), which is the apex
development bank of our country. He has rich experience and expertise of about 35
years in the field of banking and finance, especially relating to banking policy
formulation, project appraisal , emerging businesses and emerging sectors of the
economy, rural development, entrepreneurship, management of ngos, management of
innovations etc. He has also served as a director on the board of banks and has
served on various committees of the government.
Dr. Subhash Sharma

Dr subhash sharma holds Ph. D from the university of southern California (USC),
los Angeles and post graduate diploma in management (PGDM) from Indian Institute
Of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) with earlier background in science. In his work
Dr. Sharma combines in a creative manner eastern and western management ideas and
approaches and provides a futuristic vision of synthesis through the metaphor of
western windows eastern doors. His significant academic contributions towards a
creative synthesis of western and eastern concepts in management and social thought
have received wide attention and acknowledgement by many reputed scholars.
He has authored well known and path breaking books, viz. Creation from Shunya (1993),
management in new age: western windows eastern doors (WWED) (1996, 2006), quantum
rope: science, mysticism and management (1999) and arrows of time: from The Blackholes
to the nirvana point (2001). A number of his scientific and spiritual verses are
quite popular among his students and professional managers across the country.
He was among the founding faculty of the institute of rural management, Anand (IRMA),
Gujarat and also assisted in conceptualization and development of women’s institute
for studies in development oriented management (WISDOM) At Banasthali Vidhyapith,
Banasthali, Rajasthan.
He is founder director, Indian Institute Of Plantation Management, Bangalore and
founding member, Indian Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore.
Prof. Virendrasethi

Prof. Varadraj Bapat

Dr. Ca. Varadrajbapat has consulting and teaching experience of 15 years in accounting,
audit and finance. He is faculty of Accounting and Finance at SJMOSOM, IIT Bombay.
He has obtained professional qualifications in chartered accountancy, cost accountancy,
and information system audit. He has also presented/ published in national and international
conferences/ journals. His areas of research are accounting standards, managerial
finance, portfolio management, developmental finance and taxation.
Prof. C.V. Baxi

Prof. Baxi was UNDP fellow to the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He was
also a visitor to the Australian National University Canberra, Australia. He has
three decades of work experience in academics and also Director of Indian European
study Centre of Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgoan in collaboration
with ESCP, France.
He held senior positions at MDI Gurgoan including the Dean and Director. He has
teaching and research interest in corporate governance, CSR, business ethics and
sustainable development. He has been a visiting Professor at IIM, Ranchi and IIM
Kashipur. He has also taught at IIM Kozhikode and IIM Lucknow. Besides he has been
actively associated with several committees of Ministry of Heavy Industry and Public

Mr. R.K. Sinha

...retired as the Chief General Manager of National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) Head Office, Mumbai on 31 July 2017 after 37 years of development banking service having been with the Reserve Bank of India and Canara Bank also earlier. Currently he holds the position of Adjunct Professor for School of Agribusiness Management, MIT World Peace University, Pune and as Visiting Professor at College of Post Gradute Studies Shillong with the Central Agricultural University North East, besides being an Adviser to Aditya Birla Group as well as Dr. Reddys Foundation and other NGOs.
A Post Graduate in Agriculture, Mr. Ashok is from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI – 1980 batch) New Delhi after a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore (1978 batch) with additional qualifications in General Management, Human Resources Development & Training & Development. He has also done a special course on Agri-Business Management from Cornell University, USA as well as on Financing Micro Enterprises from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Reading, UK.
Mr.Ashok has ample experience in designing and implementing Training programmes and managing a Training Institution having been with the Bankers Institute of Rural Development Lucknow. He has been associated with sustainable development programmes for rural communities and has associated himself with several corporates in choosing appropriate development programs for implementing agribusiness projects using CSR funds and in helping choose implementing partners like NGOs in the project area. Mr. Ashok has had exposure of rural finance and agribusiness sector in several countries including Thailand, Kenya, China, Germany USA, Finland and England.
